Setting up Email

First lets start with some terminology: A POP3 account is the email account name that you will specify in the control panel under the Mail Manager icon. So the name of your incoming POP3 server is yourdomain.com

To create/delete/edit email accounts, usernames and passwords, use the Mail Manager in your Control Panel.

Note: Your email username/password does not have to be the same as One on One Internet logon/password.

You may use your own email client or downloadable e-mail client to check e-mail (see below). Web-based programs are usually basic send/receive while the downloadable programs offer much more powerful solutions.

Email set up examples:

Incoming Mail (POP3): yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): Same as the email account given to you by your ISP, for example if your provider is AT&T, it will be: mail.attbi.com. If your ISP does not allow you to use their sendmail servers, you can use ours at mail.yourdomain.com.

POP3 Account Username: This is the email account login name (i.e. 'info' or 'dave') that you created through the mail manager in the control panel. Note this does not have to be the same as your control panel login/password and is easily changed using the mail manager.

Setting up accounts & aliases

From your Control Panel, choose "Mail Manager"

Enter the name of the mailbox (it will become 'mailbox'@yourdomain.com) and the password you choose. When you click 'Add', your new mailbox has been set up.

To work with an existing email account, click its name on the left side of the main Mail Manager page.
